Apax Makes Offer to Acquire Azelis Group

The Firm is representing Apax Partners LLP (“Apax”) in connection with its offer to acquire Azelis S.A. and its subsidiaries (the “Azelis Group”), a leading pan-European specialty chemical distributor which is currently indirectly held by certain funds advised by 3i Group plc, a global private equity firm.
The workers’ councils of relevant Azelis Group companies will, where required, be consulted on the proposed transaction, which is also subject to antitrust approval.
