Simpson Thacher is representing Silver Lake in its announced sale of a portion of its equity investment in Virtu Financial LLC to Temasek, a global investment firm based in Singapore. Following the closing of the transaction, Silver Lake will continue to be an investor in Virtu and remain on the company’s Board of Directors as an active shareholder.
