Simpson Thacher Awarded Real Estate Deal of the Year in The Asian Lawyer’s Inaugural Emerging Market Awards 2014

The Firm’s representation of Vingroup Joint Stock Company, Vietnam’s largest private-sector real estate operator, in connection with the US$200 million investment in Vincom Retail by a consortium led by an affiliate of Warburg Pincus won Real Estate Deal of the Year in The Asian Lawyer’s inaugural Emerging Markets Awards 2014. The transaction was the largest-ever private equity investment in Vietnam. The Asian Lawyer launched the Emerging Markets Awards to recognize the top lawyers and firms servicing India and the ASEAN region.
