Jonathan Weiss Nominated to Pacific Council on International Policy

Jonathan Weiss has been nominated to the Pacific Council on International Policy by Ambassador Vilma Socorro Martinez, former U.S. Ambassador to Argentina and Senior Partner at Munger Tolles & Olson. 

Founded in 1995 in partnership with the Council on Foreign Relations, the Pacific Council is a 501c(3) non-profit organization.  It is currently co-chaired by Hon. Mickey Kantor, former U.S. Trade Representative and U.S. Secretary of Commerce, and Ambassador Robert H. Tuttle, former U.S. Ambassador to the UK.  The Pacific Council is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.  Its activities include speaking events, policy-focused task forces, and international fact-finding missions.  The Council’s membership consists of a diverse network of civic leaders and business leaders, representing all aspects of the private sector with a particular emphasis on businesses based in the Western United States with a global platform.  According to its website, “Excellence, insight, and impact are key components of Pacific Council membership.  Membership is extended to select professionals engaged in business with international reach, experts in international policy, civic and political leaders, and qualified individuals interested in international affairs.”
