Simpson Thacher recently represented Fondo Mivivienda S.A. (FMV) in connection with its offering of US$300,000,000 3.375% Notes due 2019. The transaction was consummated pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S. The Firm represented FMV in its inaugural bond offering that closed in early 2013.
Fondo Mivivienda is a for-profit development institution owned by the Peruvian government that focuses on promoting mortgage loan financing for working lower- and middle-income families in Peru. The proceeds from the offering will be used to expand loan originations.
