The Firm represented CETIP S.A. Mercados Organizados (“CETIP”) in its partnership with IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. (“ICE”) for the development of a trading platform for fixed-income, financial derivatives, commodities and equity products in Brazil. CETIP is Latin America’s largest depositary of private fixed income securities and Brazil’s largest private asset clearinghouse. ICE is the leading network of regulated exchanges and clearinghouses for financial and commodity markets in the world, and CETIP’s largest shareholder, holding shares representing 12.1% of its corporate capital.
