Simpson Thacher Wins Latin Lawyer’s Private Equity Deal of the Year

The Firm recently won Latin Lawyer’s Private Equity Deal of the Year award for our representation of an affiliate of Blackstone Real Estate Partners VII in its acquisition of a 70% stake in Alphaville Urbanismo S.A. from Gafisa S.A. for approximately R$1.4 billion (approximately US$665 million).
