Simpson Thacher represented The Blackstone Group L.P. (“Blackstone”) in the establishment of its fourth European real estate fund, Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe IV L.P. (“BREP Europe IV”). Blackstone has announced that BREP Europe IV raised approximately €5.1 billion ($7.0 billion) of total commitments, which makes BREP Europe IV the largest dedicated European real estate fund ever raised.
