The Firm is representing Vestar Capital Partners (“Vestar“) in connection with its announced agreement to acquire Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. (“ISS”) from MSCI Inc. (NYSE: MSCI) in a transaction valued at $364 million. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter, subject to customary closing conditions.
ISS, founded in 1985, is the world’s leading provider of proxy advisory and corporate governance solutions to financial market participants.
