Simpson Thacher is representing Serena Software, Inc. and its controlling shareholders, investment funds affiliated with Silver Lake Partners, LLC, in connection with the announced agreement whereby investment fund affiliates of HGGC, LLC will acquire Serena. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals.
