The Firm recently represented Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. in connection with its public offering of 9,775,000 shares of class A common stock, inclusive of the shares sold pursuant to the underwriters’ full exercise of their option to purchase additional shares, in each case at a price to the underwriters of $26.25 per share, or approximately $256.6 million in the aggregate.
Blackstone Mortgage Trust is a real estate finance company that primarily originates and purchases senior mortgage loans collateralized by properties in the United States and Europe. The company is externally managed by BXMT Advisors L.L.C., a subsidiary of The Blackstone Group L.P., and is a real estate investment trust traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “BXMT.”
