Alan Klein and the Firm Featured in The M&A Journal on Recent Wave of M&A Work

Simpson Thacher co-administrative and corporate partner Alan Klein was recently featured in The M&A Journal about the Firm's involvement in nine significant M&A deals announced during the first week of September. Mr. Klein is acknowledged for leading the Simpson Thacher team representing Microsoft in its $7.2 billion (€5.44 billion) acquisition of Nokia’s phone business. A second article, entitled “Simpson’s Week That Was,” showcased the Firm’s role in the nine M&A and private equity transactions, including the Firm’s representation of Vodafone in its $130 billion sale of its 45% stake in Verizon Wireless to Verizon Communications.
