Simpson Thacher corporate partner Marissa C. Wesely and intellectual property partner Lori E. Lesser are on the Executive Committee planning Harvard Law School's Celebration 60 conference “Leaders for Change - Women Transforming Our Communities & the World” taking place September 27 - 29, 2013. Ms. Wesely is the Co-Chair of the Programming Committee organizing 22 panels and three keynote speeches. In addition, she is moderating the panel entitled “Empowering Women of the World: Human Rights and Women’s Rights” discussing gender inequality throughout the world and what is being done to address the situation. Ms. Lesser is Co-Chair of the Sponsorship Committee and will speak on the panel entitled “Forming Alliances: Enhancing Women’s Power.”
