Simpson Thacher litigation partner Mary Kay Vyskocil was recently appointed to the Commercial Division Advisory Council by the Chief Judge of the State of New York, Jonathan Lippman. The Advisory Council “consist[s] of lawyers, current and former members of the judiciary, and in-house counsel all brought together from around the state to maximize the diversity of perspective and analysis.”
The Advisory Council is responsible for advising Chief Judge Lippman on an ongoing basis about all matters involving and surrounding the Commercial Division of the state Supreme Court and implementing the recommendations proposed by Chief Judge Lippman’s Task Force on Commercial Litigation in the 21st Century.
