The Firm represented Termotasajero S.A. E.S.P. and Termotasajero Dos S.A. E.S.P. (collectively, Termotasajero) in connection with a $315 million Senior Credit Facility, led by Banco Itaú BBA S.A., to finance the construction of a 161.6MW Coal-Fired Power Plant to be located adjacent to Termotasajero’s existing 151MW Coal-Fired Power Plant in San Cayetano, Colombia.
Termotasajero is headquartered in Bogotá, Colombia and focuses on the generation and sale of electricity in Colombia. Termotasajero has operated its existing 155MW Coal-Fired Power Plant since 1984.
