Corporate partners Glenn Sarno and Olga Gutman and Counsel Lisa Klar conducted a CLE for the NY City Bar Association Committee of Private Investment Funds, focusing on recent regulatory developments affecting the private funds industry including the JOBS Act’s lifting of the ban on general solicitations for private placements, developments in CFTC regulations and SEC Form PF. Associate Steve Homan assisted with the presentation. The forty-three member Committee, comprised of in-house and outside counsel, addresses legal and regulatory issues affecting private equity funds and hedge funds and other facets of alternative asset management and investing.
