On May 24, litigation associate Linton Mann III was a speaker for a program put together by New York Lawyers for the Public Interest to encourage nonprofit board service for attorneys. Linton discussed his experience as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Uncommon School’s Collegiate Network, and his former role as Special Assistant to the Chair of Legal Services NYC. The event was moderated by a member of United Way’s BoardServeNYC program which trains volunteers on nonprofit governance and matches them with a NYC-based nonprofit board based on their skills and interests.
