On May 22, the New York office hosted twenty-four high school students from Frederick Douglass Academy II as part of the Firm’s Urban Education Initiative. The students learned about the operations of a law firm, different career options, and the value of a college education. They also participated in a mock oral argument.
Twenty-one Simpson Thacher staff members and attorneys participated in this visit, which was coordinated by Corporate paralegal Nicole Annunziato, Litigation associate Meredith Duffy, and Litigation paralegal Cyrena Terricone. Litigation partner Noah Leibowitz gave welcoming remarks to the students.
