Simpson Thacher Hosts Students from Frank McCourt High School

On May 15, the New York office hosted 7 high school students from Frank McCourt High School as part of the Firm’s Urban Education Initiative. The students learned about the operations of a law firm, different career options, and the value of a college education. They also participated in a mock oral argument. Eighteen Simpson Thacher staff members and attorneys participated in this visit, which was coordinated by Assistant Sabrina Carreras, CLE Coordinator Debbie Lewis-Cobb, and Litigation associate Whytne J.V. Brooks. Real Estate Partner Scott Kobak gave welcoming remarks to the students.
