The Firm hosted a breakfast roundtable on “International Investment Arbitration in the Latin American Context” on Thursday, April 12. The event was a part of Yale Law School’s Latin American Legal Studies program and was held at the Firm’s New York and Washington, D.C. offices. Participants engaged in a discussion focused on recent developments in Latin America regarding annulments, fraud and corruption, multiparty arbitration, arbitrator selection and conduct of proceedings. A select panel of prominent academics and practitioners participated in the event, including Michael Reisman, Myres S. McDougal Professor of International Law, Yale Law School, and Simpson Thacher senior litigation associate Emma Lindsay.
