Simpson Thacher was recognized with three significant honors at the 2012 IFLR Americas Awards, which took place on March 29, 2012 at the Essex House in New York.  The Firm was awarded “Equity Team of the Year” for its noteworthy global capital markets practice and its achievements in 2011. The Firm received the “Equity Deal of the Year” award for our role representing Nielsen Holdings N.V. in connection with Nielsen’s $1.64 billion initial public offering of common stock and a concurrent $250 million offering of mandatory convertible subordinated bonds.
