Simpson Thacher litigation partner Jonathan K. Youngwood will co-chair and speak and litigation partner Paul C. Gluckow will speak at Practising Law Institute’s "Handling a Securities Case 2012: From Investigation to Trial and Everything in Between" program on April 26, 2012 in New York. The program will cover a comprehensive overview of the constantly evolving and changing landscape of securities litigation.
Mr. Youngwood will give the introduction to the program and will participate on three panels: "The Investigation: Coordinating Requests from Government Regulators"; "Prosecuting and Defending the Civil Action: Class Certification, Fact Discovery, Experts and Summary Judgment Motions"; and "Trial of the Civil Action or Arbitration". Mr. Gluckow will speak on the panel entitled "Ethical Issues in Complex Securities Litigation".
