The Firm represented Mitsubishi Corporation in connection with its acquisition of a 20% stake in Los Grobo Ceagro do Brasil S.A., or Ceagro.
Ceagro is a Brazilian agribusiness company engaged in activities including storage, logistics, commercialization, production of grain commodities and sales of agricultural materials including seeds, fertilizers and agricultural chemicals. Mitsubishi Corporation is Japan’s largest general trading company, engaged in business with customers around the world in industries including energy, metals, machinery, chemicals, food and general merchandise. Mitsubishi is active in the grain industry, conducting a full service of commodity trading operations such as origination, marketing, financing, logistics and vessel chartering for its customers worldwide.
