Simpson Thacher & Bartlett is representing Teleflex Incorporated in connection with the $280 million sale of subsidiaries, Telair International GmbH (“Telair”) and Teleflex Aviation Products AS (“Nordisk”) to AAR International, Inc., a subsidiary of AAR CORP. (“AAR”).
Telair provides the world's airlines and OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) with advanced cargo-handling systems and aftermarket services. Telair is a leader in the design, manufacture and support of cargo loading systems for wide-body and narrow-body aircraft. Nordisk designs, manufactures and sells the widest range of containers and pallets in the commercial aviation industry. AAR is a leading provider of value-added products and services to the worldwide aerospace and government and defense industries.
