Simpson Thacher Releases Dodd-Frank Anniversary Compendium; Firm to Host Client Seminars in Fall Discussing Dodd-Frank
In connection with the one-year anniversary of the passage of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP has released “Reflections on Dodd-Frank: A Look Back and a Look Forward,” a compendium of articles that review and analyze key rulemaking developments and the creation of regulation and enforcement entities under Dodd-Frank.
This landmark legislation marked the beginning of transformational change in the regulation of the financial services industry. The compendium discusses facets of the bill that significantly impact the Firm’s clients, including capital standards and qualifying investments, private equity and hedge fund formation, strategic investments and mergers and acquisitions, litigation and regulatory enforcement issues, and derivatives activities of financial institutions.
The compendium will be provided to clients and also available through Simpson Thacher’s Dodd-Frank online resource center, which can be accessed here: www.simpsonthacher.com. In the fall, the Firm will host a series of seminars for clients and invited guests to discuss the implications and ramifications of Dodd-Frank.
