The Hong Kong office of the Firm represented Xiangyu Dredging Holdings Limited (“Xiangyu”), the largest privately owned dredging company in China, in connection with its initial public offering in Hong Kong and Regulation S offering of an aggregate of 200,000,000 ordinary shares to be subscribed for and traded in Hong Kong dollars (“H shares”). Xiangyu raised approximately HK$638 million (approximately US$82 million). CCB International was the sole global coordinator, lead bookrunner and joint lead manager, Guotai Junan International served as joint bookrunner and joint lead manager and Morgan Stanley acted as sole sponsor.
The Simpson Thacher team for the transaction included Chris Lin, Blake Dunlap, Sandra Kister, Tianyi Chen, Lydia Yang and former associate Heather Tsai in capital markets, and Danny Salinas in tax.
