Simpson Thacher recently represented Odeon & UCI Cinemas Group Limited (“Odeon”) in connection with its private offering of £300 million aggregate principal amount of 9% Senior Secured Notes due 2018 and €200 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Secured Floating Rate Notes due 2018. Simpson Thacher also represented Odeon in connection with a new £90 million super senior revolving credit facility. Odeon is a leading cinema operator in the United Kingdom and Continental European markets.
