Simpson Thacher Represents the Initial Purchasers in Connection with Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc.’s $120 Million Convertible Notes Offering

The Firm recently represented J.P. Morgan, Evercore Partners and Oppenheimer & Co. in connection with Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc.’s offering of $120 million aggregate principal amount of 6.25% Convertible Notes due 2018. The notes were offered only to qualified institutional buyers in reliance on Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.

Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides wireline, wireless and other telecommunications and technology services to consumer, business and enterprise customers in the State of Alaska and beyond using its statewide and interstate network.
