Simpson Thacher Hosts Students from the Academy for Careers in Television and Film

On April 7, the New York office hosted 25 high school students from the Academy for Careers in Television and Film as part of the Firm’s Urban Education Initiative. The students learned about the operations of a law firm, different career options, and how to prepare for a job interview. 29 Simpson Thacher staff members and attorneys participated in this visit, which was coordinated by Corporate Associate Daeyna M. Grant, Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits associate Craig Katerberg, Corporate Paralegal Ingrid Vidal, and the Firm’s Director of Litigation, Business Development Department, Lorine Pendleton, with assistance from Human Resources Generalist Melissa Ortiz.
