Simpson Thacher and Accenture hosted a Women in Non-Profit Board Leadership Breakfast at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Thursday, April 7, 2011. The program covered a range of topics relating to non-profit board leadership and board governance. Simpson Thacher tax partner Marcy G. Geller and Accenture partner Laila J. Worrell served as co-chairs of the event. Ellen Futter, President of the American Museum of Natural History served as moderator for the event and the panel included Simpson Thacher exempt organizations partner Victoria B. Bjorklund, Jenna Hager, Contributing Correspondent to NBC’s Today, Ann Rubenstein Tisch, Founder of Young Women’s Leadership Network, and Lulu Wang, Chief Executive Officer of Tupelo Capital Management LLC. The moderator and panelists serve on many national and local non-profit boards.
