Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in $800 Million Debt Offering by Dover Corporation

The Firm represented underwriters, led by BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan, in a public offering of $800 million principal amount of debt securities of Dover Corporation.  The debt securities consisted of $450 million of 4.300% Notes due 2021 and $350 million of 5.375% Notes due 2041.

The net proceeds of the offering are being used to repay commercial paper that had, in turn, been issued to repay maturing debt securities and for general corporate purposes.

Dover is a global manufacturer of components and equipment, specialty systems and support services for a variety of applications in the industrial products, engineered systems, fluid management and electronic technologies markets.
