Simpson Thacher Represents The Hershey Company in $350 Million Debt Offering

Simpson Thacher represented The Hershey Company in the offering of $350 million aggregate principal amount of its 4.125% Notes due 2020. The proceeds of the offering were used to purchase for cash any and all of its outstanding 6.95% notes due 2012 that were validly tendered pursuant to a tender offer launched on December 8, 2010.

The Hershey Company is the largest producer of quality chocolate in North America and a global leader in chocolate and sugar confectionery.
