Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in $300 Million Debt Offering for Hubbell Incorporated

The Firm represented J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo Securities and other underwriters in a public offering of $300 million of 3.625% Senior Notes due 2022 by Hubbell Incorporated.

The Firm also represented J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo Securities as dealer managers in a concurrent tender offer to repurchase Hubbell Incorporated’s outstanding $200 million of 6.375% Notes due 2012.

Hubbell Incorporated will use the net proceeds of the debt offering to repay the outstanding 6.375% Notes due 2012 and for general corporate purposes.

Hubbell designs, manufactures and sells electrical and electronic products for the construction, industrial and utility sectors.
