Lesser will co-chair, and Lesser and intellectual property partner Harrison “Buzz” Frahn will speak at Practising Law Institute’s “Open Source and Free Software 2010: Benefits, Risks and Challenges” conference on November 17, 2010 in New York and December 8, 2010 in San Francisco, respectively. Ms. Lesser will speak on “Ethical Issues Involving Open Source,” which will discuss attorneys’ ethical obligations in handling open source software matters, managing diverse interests within a corporation, ethics in negotiation scenarios and how to handle license violations by companies or employees. Mr. Frahn will speak on the same topic at the San Francisco program.
