Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in GeoEye, Inc.'s Second-Lien Senior Secured Notes Offering

The Firm represented joint book-running managers J.P. Morgan, BofA Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank Securities and the other Underwriters in connection with the issuance by GeoEye, Inc. of $125 million aggregate principal amount of second-lien 8.625% Senior Secured Notes due 2016.

GeoEye is a provider of Earth imagery, image processing services and imagery information products to the U.S. government, and to commercial and other government entities throughout the world.  The net proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes.
