The Firm recently represented the initial purchaser, Nomura, in connection with the US$174.9 million offering of global depositary shares by Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. The global offering consisted of an international offering led by Nomura as global coordinator and sole bookrunner and was conducted in reliance upon Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933. Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. is a leading Taiwanese manufacturer that specializes in the fabrication of silicon and sapphire wafers primarily used in photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications. Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. is listed on the GreTai Securities Market in the Republic of China.
