Simpson Thacher litigation partner Jonathan K. Youngwood will speak at Practising Law Institute’s "ERISA Litigation 2010" program on September 15, 2010 in New York.
Mr. Youngwood will speak on the panel "A Grab-bag of Emerged and Emerging Issues: Issues Affecting Certain Types of Plans,” which will focus on VEBAs, cash balance, ESOPs and state-law provisions prohibiting interpretive discretion. He will also speak on a panel entitled "Indirect Fees and Stock Drop," addressing what's at stake, the potential scope of liability, issues and strategies and a survey of pending cases.
