Simpson Thacher represented Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company in connection with the issuance of $1.8 billion aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes and the completion of an amended and restated senior secured credit facility consisting of a euro-denominated term loan of US$500.0 million and a $200.0 million multicurrency revolving credit facility. Wrigley used the gross proceeds from the senior secured notes offering and the term loan, together with cash on hand, to repay indebtedness outstanding under its existing credit facility.
