On April 16, 2010, Simpson Thacher's New York office hosted fifteen high school students from the Brooklyn Academy of Global Finance as part of the Firm's Urban Education Initiative. The students learned about the operations of a law firm and the various career opportunities within a law firm. Twenty-four Simpson Thacher staff members and attorneys participated in this visit, which was coordinated by Debbie Lewis-Cobb, Continuing Legal Education Coordinator; Brandon Mason, Corporate Associate; Lindsay Thompson, Legal Recruiting Coordinator; and Melissa Ortiz, Human Resources Generalist.
