The firm is representing Corsair Capital in connection with its announced $150 million equity investment in Torus Insurance, a global specialty insurer. Private equity funds managed by First Reserve Corporation, Torus’s founding investor and majority shareholder, are also making an additional equity investment in Torus. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and other customary conditions.
