Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in Initial Public Offering by Generac

Simpson Thacher represented J.P. Morgan, Goldman, Sachs & Co., BofA Merrill Lynch, Baird and the other underwriters in the initial public offering of Generac Holdings Inc. The transaction raised gross proceeds of $244 million and closed on February 17, 2010.

Generac designs and manufactures standby generators for the residential, industrial and commercial markets. Its products are used by households, hospitals, nursing homes, wireless telecommunications providers, retail stores and a variety of other businesses.
