Simpson Thacher executive director Michael Hersch will speak on a panel at Practising Law Institute's "Law Firm Leadership and Management Institute 2010" on February 1, 2010 in New York City. The panel, "Managing by the Numbers or Not," will discuss law firm economics, the state of credit, profits per partner, compensation and recognition. Also, the panel will address identifying value, how is it quantified, and why numbers may not always be the answer.
