Todd Crider Speaks on Legal Ethics and Pro Bono for Cyrus Vance Center in Lima, Peru

On October 22, 2009, Todd Crider spoke on pro bono in Lima, Peru,  by invitation of Miranda y Amado, a leading Peruvian law firm, at their tenth year anniversary as part of their anniversary celebration and launch of the "Desafio Pro Bono" or "Pro Bono Challenge" for law students across Peru. The Pro Bono Challenge also involves the support of leading companies in Peru.

On November 17 to 19, 2009, Todd Crider spoke in Lima, Peru, as part of a delegation from New York organized by the Cyrus Vance Center, Ciudadanos al Dia and the Catholic University of Lima Law School. He spoke on several panels relating to aspects of the proposed reforms of the ethical rules governing the legal profession in Peru. In addition, he delivered remarks relating to the launch of a pro bono clearinghouse supported by the major firms in Peru. He was also interviewed on live television in a "Larry King" format along with Julia Maria Morales, General Counsel of Telefonica Peru, on the proposed ethical reforms.
