Jayma Meyer participated in the panel "Issues That Arise in Antitrust Cases That You Don't Learn About in Law School" sponsored by the Federal Bar Council and Antitrust Section of the NYSBA on November 18, 2009. The program was moderated by The Honorable Lewis A. Kaplan, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York. The discussion included an overview of the antitrust laws and dispositive motions after Twombly and Iqbal; class actions, with particular emphasis on the issues raised by IPO, Canadian Cars and Hydrogen Peroxide, as well as Daubert issues; and the litigation of state law claims and pre-emption in federal court.
