On November 20, 2009, Simpson Thacher hosted sixteen high school students from the Bronx School of Law and Finance as part of the Firm's recently launched Urban Education Initiative. The students learned about the operations of a law firm, the work that litigators do, and various career opportunities within a law firm. Twenty Simpson Thacher staff members and attorneys participated in this visit, which was coordinated by Assistant Sabrina Carreras, Corporate Associate Justus Morris, and Human Resources Generalist Melissa Ortiz.
