The Firm recently represented Banc of America Securities LLC and HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., as initial purchasers, in connection with a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of US$500 million of 5.50% Senior Notes due 2019 by Teléfonos de México, S.A.B. de C.V., which is known as Telmex.
Telmex, which is incorporated in Mexico, owns and operates the leading fixed-line telecommunications system in Mexico. Telmex also provides other telecommunications-related services, such as corporate networks, Internet access services, information network management, telephone and computer equipment sales, and interconnection services to other carriers.
