The Firm recently represented Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch and Hyundai Securities in a US$500,000,000 offering of 6.00% Notes due 2014 issued by Korea Gas Corporation (“KOGAS”). KOGAS is a public natural gas company, established in 1983 and controlled by the Korean Government. KOGAS is listed on the Korea Exchange is the largest LNG importer in the world. KOGAS operates three LNG regasification terminals and over 2,700 km of natural gas pipelines in South Korea. The offering was conducted in reliance upon Rule 144A and Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933.
