The Firm recently represented Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley as joint bookrunners in a public offering of US$500,000,000 of 6.375% Notes due 2020 by Embraer Overseas Limited, unconditionally guaranteed by Embraer-Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica S.A. The notes are listed in the New York Stock Exchange.
Embraer, a Brazilian company, is one of the leading manufacturers of commercial aircraft in the world with a global customer base, and the leading supplier of defense aircraft for the Brazilian Air Force. Embraer Overseas, a Cayman Islands company, is a wholly-owned finance subsidiary of Embraer.
The net proceeds of the offering will be used for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment of short-term debt.
