Firm Represents Chemspec International Limited in Initial Public Offering of American Depositary Shares

The Hong Kong office of the Firm represented Chemspec International Limited in connection with its initial public offering and listing on the New York Stock Exchange of 8,087,000 American Depositary Shares representing ordinary shares (ADSs). Chemspec and its selling shareholders raised a total of US$72.8 million, before deducting underwriting commissions and expenses. The lead underwriters for the offering were Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. The other underwriters were Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and Piper Jaffray & Co.  This offering was the second U.S. IPO of a China-based company in 2009.
 
 Chemspec is a leading China-based contract manufacturer of highly engineered specialty chemicals and the largest manufacturer of fluorinated specialty chemicals in China based on sales. Chemspec's ADSs are listed and traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "CPC".
