Vulcan Materials Company offered and sold 13,225,000 shares of common stock. The net proceeds of the offering are being used to reduce debt and for general corporate purposes. The common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “VMC”.
Vulcan Materials Company is the largest U.S. producer of construction aggregates (primarily crushed stone, sand and gravel), a major producer of asphalt and a leading producer of cement in Florida. Vulcan Materials Company is a New Jersey corporation with its headquarters in Alabama.
